James Mack, MRED, CCIM

James Mack began his career in commercial real estate in New York City in 2005 while pursuing a career in acting and musical theatre, syndicating multifamily deals in Harlem and the Bronx. After a master's degree at NYU's Schack Institute of Real Estate, he underwrote office and industrial deals for owner/operators and private equity funds before moving to Utah and entering brokerage.

James advises clients on investments across the state of Utah. He previously spent many years in office tenant representation, working with everyone from small tech startups to tech unicorns to Fortune 500 companies, and has participated in more than $535 million in transaction volume.

That underwriting background and a global network are how he finds opportunities other brokers miss. He has served on the Utah CCIM Board of Directors, the Board of Pioneer High School for the Performing Arts, and as a committee member of the Mountain West Capital Network.

Outside work, James spends his time with his wife Angela and their four children. He still acts in the occasional commercial or film to keep things interesting, and loves to ski, hike, travel, and see Broadway shows.
